IRONMAN 70.3 Northern California 2026: ninth and tenth
Fifty-minute swims for both of us, so no river current this time, and a 1:46:18 run, my fastest 70.3 run on this site. The write-up comes once we've slept.
This is the most recent race in the log, three weeks before we rebuilt this site, which is why the official result is on the card and the write-up isn't here yet. It's coming, along with the video, once we've slept.
What the card says in the meantime: fifty-minute swims for both of us, which means no river current this time, and a run where I went 1:46:18, my fastest 70.3 run anywhere on this site. Michelle went 2:32 on the run after 3:28 on the bike and finished in 7:03:02. We were ninth and tenth in the age groups, in a mainland August that was, for once, cooler than home, and the video will fill in the rest.
