Kaiwi Coast Run 2025: fourth year, still together

Four Novembers on the same road: 2022, 2023, 2024, and this one. This time it came five weeks after IRONMAN California and a few weeks out from a marathon we'd already decided to run together, and neither of those things mattered much on that road, which is most of why we keep coming back to it.

We ran four miles at 9:14 a mile, 36:55 and 36:57, two seconds and one place apart, and after the October we'd had, running it side by side at an easy pace was the whole idea. It was Michelle's first race in the 45-49 age group, where she was ninth, and I was sixth in mine.
